In-line with Government guidelines, we have made some changes to the way we welcome guests, run our games and to our regimes between bookings. The safety of our customers, and staff, is our main priority and we will continue to monitor Government guidelines and make changes where necessary.

We are confident that the changes will not negatively impact on your enjoyment of our escape room - the room and puzzles themselves have not changed.

Our changes are outlined below, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Following a recent Government update, escape rooms are now listed in the category of venues where the wearing of masks is mandatory, from August 8th. Therefore, if you have/make a booking with us on or after this date, please be aware that you will be required to wear a mask at all times when inside the premises. We would encourage customers to bring their own masks with them, however, we can provide disposable masks at a charge of £1 per item. Our staff will be wearing masks and gloves whilst cleaning the games room between bookings.

The government states that you DO NOT need to wear a face covering if you have a legitimate reason not to. This includes (but is not limited to):

• Young children under the age of 11 (Public Health England do not recommend face coverings for children under the age of 3 for health and safety reasons)

• Not being able to put on, wear or remove a face covering because of a physical or mental illness or impairment or disability

• If putting on, wearing or removing a face covering will cause you severe distress

• If you are travelling with or providing assistance to someone who relies on lip reading to communicate

If you have any questions/concerns around this, please feel free to contact us.

The Government have stated that, “Close contact activity such as visiting an entertainment centre should only be conducted within a household group/bubble or with one other household/bubble”. We are therefore limiting teams to players from a maximum of 2 households.

A member of staff will meet you outside, please do not enter the building unattended. Weather permitting, all pre-game briefings will be done outside. If the briefing needs to be done inside, our staff will remain at a minimum of 2metres away from players at all times. There are designated areas for players to stand.

Players are to arrive 5 minutes before their game – but no earlier. Our staff will be following a strict cleaning regime between bookings, an early arrival would mean they are likely to still be completing that regime and will therefore be unable to meet you.

There is a hand sanitising station immediately inside the building – customers will need to sanitise their hands before and after their game.

There is another hand sanitising station inside the room. Other than this, and the fact customers will be wearing masks, there will be no changes to the game room or how it’s played.

Our staff will be disinfecting all props, surfaces, padlocks and door handles inside the escape room between every booking. Every item in the room is wipe-able. We will also be opening all internal doors for a minimum of 45 minutes between all games to assist with ventilation.

Our cancellation policy states that bookings cannot be refunded if cancelling within 48 hours. However, if any team member is displaying any of these symptoms (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/) prior to your visit, we would ask that you contact us to cancel your game and we will issue a full refund without hesitation.
